Once you have recorded your listings, you can offer them for unlimited playback on your own website. Look in the Properties menu and read each listing to get the specific URL to post into your existing website.

If you are experiencing a slow period, think of using your call capture solution in different ways. Many of our customers use their tollfree numbers as information lines to give community information on short sales, buying and selling bank-owned properties, etc.

Likewise, use your tollfree number on your website as a good way to convert visitors into real leads that you can use.

The answer is “probably not”. Such obvious vanity numbers are generally taken. The best thing to do to begin investigating a number you would like is to visit one of the many sites on the Internet that offer vanity numbers. They offer a search function that shows what numbers are currently available.

Then contact us at “helpdesk@1800homehotline.com” and we will give you instructions on how to proceed. We can typically have your vanity number working in a few days.

When callers choose a listing, we automatically offer them an option to receive a text message on their phone. You provide the text by filling-in the “Short Desc” field for each listing under the Properties menu.

If you have an existing web site for the listing, a great strategy is to text the caller the URL to the web listing. That way they can see the web listing on their phone or visit your site later. If you don’t have a web site for the listing, you can include a very short text description of the property ( about 100 characters ).

Note that we also always include your contact info in the text message first ( your name and mobile number ).

You can use numbers 101 thru 999 to record messages for each of your listings.  However, when you publish the recording id, you can add a fourth digit to help you determine where the lead came from.  We can customize these for your account, but by default they are:

1 – Web
2 – Email
3 – Flyer
4 – Magazine
5 – Newspaper
6 – Direct Mail
7 – Bulletin Board
8 – Voice Broadcast
9 – Other

So for instance you record message id “101″ and put just “101″ on your sign rider.  But you can also advertise your tollfree number on your website.  For that same listing, you put in id “1011″ on the website.  We play the message for 101, but we record the fourth digit as indicating a web lead.
